Women’s Wisdom Mentoring

“I’ve been affirmed of wisdom that my body has always known, but never really had the space to be honored”

There’s a yearning inside of you

To live a more intentional and vibrant life, to find deep intimacy in your relationships, and to feel fully nourished by your community.

Let’s get you there!

I’ve got you, and I know you can do this.

Not only do you deserve this, but the people you love and adore will have their lives absolutely changed by the work you do here.

In our time together expect to come away with the wisdom and knowledge that you so deeply deserve. I support you into becoming a matriarch {a woman who is the head of a family or tribe} of your body, your loved ones, and the communities you serve.

When pressure is at an all time high, it is important to have the support you deserve to feel at home in your mind, body, and spirit.

Using my three-step process, we will define the imbalances, struggles, and hardships caused by the disconnection with your natural rhythms and cycles.

Experiment with nourishing self care practices that could include restorative yoga, movement, meditation, breathwork, and inner wisdom.

Develop custom practices for you to experiment with on your own time or in-between sessions together. We will release and work through the blocks that are standing in your way of letting you step right into it.

You’ve got this.

Step 1: Self Knowledge

  • Sharing trusted research, reviewed resources, and self-inquiry we will create a stable knowledge base to learn how your body functions.

  • Areas of wisdom we will visit are the menstrual cycle, phases of life, stress responses, hormones, and yogic techniques.

Step 2: Self Acceptance

  • Through techniques in yoga, breathwork, and self-regulation we will work together to create a tool box of resources for you to use to learn to accept the fluctuations of your body

  • We will dive deeply into the wisdom that your body holds in order to pick and choose specific techniques for you to find your way back to self acceptance.

Step 3: Self Honor

  • By this stage you will deeply understand the natural changes your body goes through and will be able to use these changes as a compass for how you live your life

  • We will work together to create optimal lifestyle choices setting boundaries where they are needed and opening to the things that bring you health, joy, and balance.

  • We will design practices and rituals to carry you through to a balanced future.

Women’s Wisdom Teachings

Women’s Wisdom includes information on the life phases of womanhood including the rites of passage women pass through. It also includes teachings from the archetypes, seasons of the year, the moon cycles, and the waves of hormones making up the menstrual cycle. Women’s wisdom knows how to use this natural calendar to live in a cyclical way within our linear world.

If you’ve been feeling out of sorts, burnt out, rushed, out of sync with nature, overly tired, and disconnected from the rhythms of the seasons, this wisdom will guide you back to your path.

This wisdom may be shared through verbal sharing, graphics, articles, and art projects to integrate this knowledge into your life.

“Mia is an amazing guide and teacher. From our initial session she has consistently met me where I am with regard to my abilities, providing guidance, patience, and energy to allow me to explore and grow in all areas. I would highly recommend private sessions with Mia.” - JL

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is the use of props to support the body into positions of comfort and ease. It directly speaks to the nervous system and helps to rewire lost connections in the brain caused by constant stress.

Restorative yoga is a gentle style of practice where poses are held between 2-20 minutes each in order to move the nervous system into the parasympathetic phase (rest, digest, and recover).

An essential, and potent practice to calm and reset the nervous system.

Every session, I walk away learning something new about the mind and body - especially as it relates to pregnancy - with both mind and body feeling better; giving me increased confidence that I'm doing everything I can for a healthy baby and mom during this critical period. I laugh every time, as it's nice to balance the practice and the fun.” - AT

Ceremony

Ceremony brings meaning to a moment or transition in life. It helps us to embody change and transformation. Throughout your transformation, we may use ceremony to illuminate complete transformation from one stage of life or experiences to another.

• A rite of passage such as menstruation, coming off of birth control, fertility, pregnancy, loss, or menopause

• A transition for you such as marriage, moving, or claiming a new identity

• Transition from one archetype or meaningful year of your life to another

(See Closing of the Bones Ceremony as one example)

“This has been everything I was hoping it would be and more. I’ve been affirmed of wisdom that my body has always known, but never really had the space to be honored - until now. Mia’s presence as a facilitator is calming and reassuring. Her ability to hold space for others is inspiring and admirable. I am eternally grateful for her and her desire to spread the wisdom of women to the world. It’s people like her who are doing the work to change the world for the better. Deep bows to her, and to the women who have taught her.” - SE

“I have been tracking my cycle in a notebook like you recommended and I love it. I have noticed strong patterns with sleep quality, appetite, creativity and patience. It has helped me to be more aware of how I am impacted by my hormones for sure! Thanks for sharing your wisdom!” - Jenna S.
